The Brief.
ShopAppy is an award winning marketplace website designed to put the power of online retail in the hands of the local high street. The concept is that you can choose your local area, browse online across all your local stores, then you can buy online and collect from a local pick up point. Additionally you can enquire about services, make reservations or add items to your online shopping list to help you as you physically visit your local stores.
We were introduced to the founder of ShopAppy, Dr Jackie Mulligan, by one of our agency partners. Jackie felt the business needed a consultant to help from a technical and operational point of view and also to provide additional knowledge and expertise for their digital marketing.
Objectives.
- Technical bridge between business owner, developers and hosting suppliers
- Project management for technical issues and improvements
- Website content administrator
- Web design and UX consultancy
- Digital marketing support
- Magento 2 project lead
How We Did It.
Magento 2
We supported the move to Magento for this project as we were familiar with the capabilities of the platform. Providing a key point of contact for any questions or additions.
Standing By
We operate as an “on call” service and are able to react to the client needs as appropriate. We are always available to resolve any queries.
Brief
We worked with a development team based in India as well as some suppliers based in the USA and at home in the UK.
Connect
We understand the business and the difficulties of dealing with multiple stakeholders. As we're distanced from the day to day operation, we’re able to push back to fulfil the wider objectives.
Test
Plan, conduct and feedback on user acceptance testing, including device and browser testing. Then implementing this information into transforming the customer's journey.
