We’ve had an upgrade.

We can all agree that 2020 was an unpredictable year. Probably also that 2021 hasn’t got off to the best start. But whilst a pandemic was threatening to upset our progress, reduce our clients and compromise our campaigns, we actually found like many digital agencies and specialists, that we were busier than ever. We appreciate not all businesses have had a great time. But we were able to take the chance to plan ahead beyond 2021 and give ourselves a bit of an upgrade. Here’s how…

We launched some great new websites.

During 2020, PJM managed and collaborated on numerous website projects. We launched 6 new websites on the Shopify platform and became a Shopify Partner. A couple of these were websites for small businesses looking to move online to support their high street store. A couple more were pure play start ups. We also launched a couple of new WordPress sites for non-eCommerce businesses in the legal and finance sector, and collaborated with our Magento development agency partner, Aware Digital on a new website for a retail display and point of sale manufacturer.

My Trade Products

Getting under the skin with our eCommerce consultancy.

We were drafted in as an eCommerce consultant on a couple of large Magento projects. Leading the scoping and RFP process for leading manufacturers in the heating industry as well as an art supplies business. PJM:Digital also helped get a large multi-store front, international website project through to completion. This was for one of the leading global players in the pro and consumer audio market. We’d been involved from the start in the scoping and RFP process and helped select the development agency and input to the specification. Therefore it was important that we were able to return to the project to support the final bits of content population and user acceptance testing.

We drove more sales through digital marketing.

Our digital marketing capabilities were reviewed and evolved at the start of the year. We now have a great selection of retained digital marketing clients that we work with, driving traffic, leads and sales through their website and also their offline business. We work to improve their organic search visibility, by managing, testing and developing their paid search campaigns, driving more sales and leads through email marketing, and helping them gain more engagement through social media. Each business is in a different sector, with different products, customers and challenges. We love this though and really appreciate the honesty and collaborative nature that we’re able to build with our clients. Last year was a challenge for sure, but we’re all looking forward now, not back.

New home... and did we mention we won an award?

Over the summer, we took the decision to put a few foundations in place to support the future growth of our business. In order to be able to continue to deliver the service and results for our clients, we needed a new home. So in September we moved into a new office at Assembly in Bradford city centre… the cool part where all the funky bars are! As well as our office, it’s an amazing big old building, with meeting room facilities and a superb space for events. We’re hoping to be able to utilise this later in the year for a “re-assembly” of all our network, partners, clients and friends.

We also developed further relationships with our specialist partners who support us with social media and PR activities. With an eye on the future, and fuelled in part by the ambition of our clients, we’re now considering expanding the core team during 2021.

We also won an award and got shortlisted for another. This recognition was great to receive and also encouraged us to apply these more recent upgrades.

So you’re now looking at pjm:digital v2.0. We hope you like it.

We do.
